Investiture of Power

Polaris’ Hidden Power
The celestial flame that makes up the body of a Star cannot burn anything (and water or lack of oxygen can’t put it out either), but it’s restorative properties allows them to heal others as well as themselves.
Though she knows it not, Polaris actually has the Three Sisters of Fate (who in this multiverse are actually Stars, like her) from Greek Myth as ancestors. Their power over fate and destiny was not fictional and she is the first person in her family in literally millennia to manifest them.
Though it has not come to pass yet, Eviscara sensed she would, at some point, teach the girl the technique the heroine uses to guard her soul and energy from lifedrain.
There is a technique chi-users can use that come naturally as an innate ability to all Stars in the Universe. It's basically spider-sense, allowing them the power to sense their surroundings (usually measured in a few hundred kilometers), the presence and power-level of others, and predict oncoming danger (manifested as an Indiana Jones-style “I have a bad feeling about this” gut feeling).
The parasitic hunger Void Stars experience warps this power, giving it a weaker radius (in a kilometer or two, if they’re lucky), but makes it more sensitive (like sensing people who are hiding and let them “see” the places covered by their sensory in their mind's eye)
Polaris is considered a natural at this because she takes it a step farther. When she senses danger, her mind’s eye can actually see the offending event a few seconds before they occur and she can wholesale perceive the future when she sleeps, though those visions are cloudy and difficult to remember. Her sensory also extends so wide, it covers the whole continent!
The truth is a bit more complex… her powerful sensing abilities are actually the first signs of her latent destiny powers. It will get worse over time. First, the nightly visions will happen during the day, then they become much clearer and easier to remember, then she will start spouting wholesale prophecies (Oracle of Delphi-style, complete with the prophecies coming true in ways no one expects) which actually change the future to match them instead of anything that was going to happen anyway, the visions happening more and more frequently as her powers grow stronger until she’s hardly conscious anymore.
Her fate powers make Divination magic of all forms laughably easy to use.
